Job Title: Functional System Analyst – Financial Applications Location: Spring / Houston, TX – 77389 (Onsite Only) Duration: 12+ Months (with possible extension) Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Functional System Analyst to support financial business processes within the IDEAS Suite (IDEAS, TRIAD, JADE) at ExxonMobil. This role involves analyzing and resolving support requests, troubleshooting issues, and implementing quality solutions while collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams. Responsibilities: • Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team environment based in Houston, TX and Buenos Aires, Argentina. • Respond to day-to-day customer support requests including master data and configuration changes. • Maintain system interfaces with other applications and ensure data integrity. • Keep documentation updated: work instructions, solution design, test cases, and compliance documents. • Coordinate with various IT teams (e.g., DBAM, Server Ops, SD&G) for issue resolution and enhancements. • Support IT testing, integrated testing, and user acceptance testing for financial applications. • Leverage modern technologies including Azure, GitHub, and Cloud APIs. Preferred Qualifications: • Strong experience in IT systems support and application management. • Proficiency with SQL Server (writing queries, developing SSIS packages, and SSRS reports). • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and Test Case Center. • Good understanding of financial business processes, including: • Financial Accounting • General Ledger (GL) • Accounts Payable (AP) • Intercompany processes • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Top 3 Requirements: • Proficiency in SQL Server (queries, SSIS, SSRS) • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Test Case Center • Understanding of core financial processes (Accounting, GL, AP, Intercompany)
