What You’ll Do: • Design and implement reasoning operations and high-level reasoning programs • Build and deploy large-scale indexes using NoSQL, Graph, and ML vector databases • Develop interactive UIs that combine chat agents with dynamic data visualizations • Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and architects to refine AI system requirements • Integrate telemetry to monitor AI behavior and performance, using data to drive continuous improvement • Translate A/B test data into actionable insights through robust data pipelines • Ensure code quality through peer reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices A Typical Day in the Role: Your day will start with a stand-up meeting where you’ll sync with a small, agile team of engineers, researchers, and product managers. You’ll review progress on current sprint goals, discuss blockers, and align on priorities for the day. From there, you might: • Dive into building or refining reasoning operations that power the platform’s AI capabilities • Work on backend services that manage and query large-scale knowledge graphs and vector databases • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive interfaces that allow users to interact with AI-generated insights • Analyze telemetry data to understand how users are engaging with the platform and identify areas for optimization • Participate in code reviews, ensuring your team’s work is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with architectural standards • Join a brainstorming session to explore new ways to evaluate LLM performance or improve the transparency of AI-driven insights • Wrap up the day by documenting your progress and preparing for the next sprint cycle This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working across disciplines, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with AI and cloud technologies. Must-Have Qualifications: • 2–4 years of professional software development experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure • 3+ years of experience with Python • Proficiency in at least one additional language (e.g., C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript) Nice to Have: • Experience designing and implementing LLM evaluation frameworks • Familiarity with graph databases and NoSQL technologies • Background in deploying and scaling infrastructure on Azure • Experience working in cross-functional teams with researchers and product managers Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
