Senior DevOps Engineer • *6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or a similar roll. Proficiency deploying in a cloud environment like AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP. Expertise in at least one programming language, such as Python (preferred). As a Senior DevOps (Development Operations) Engineer, you will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring seamless integration, deployment, and monitoring of software systems in a secure manner. With a background in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-based systems in a secure and auditable manner, the Senior DevOps (Development Operations) Engineer will support our clients digital infrastructure projects. Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure using cloud-native technologies, ensuring adherence to security best practices. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with embedded security gates to ensure secure deployment processes. Automate tasks like infrastructure provisioning and deployment. Monitor system performance and security, troubleshoot issues, and implement measures to protect against threats. Collaborate with other members of the Data and IT teams to design and implement secure deployment models and approaches. 4+ years (6+ preferred) of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or a similar roll. Proficiency deploying in a cloud environment like AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP. Expertise in at least one programming language, such as Python (preferred). Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI, with experience integrating security best practices in deployment. Good understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), including IAM, encryption, logging, and network security and architecture. Bachelors (Masters or PhD preferred) in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
