Primary Responsibilities • Serve as the first-line point of contact for all technology support requests (phone, email, self-service portal or AI chatbot), ensuring each ticket is logged, categorized, and resolved or escalated promptly. • Diagnose hardware, software, network, and cloud-service issues; perform hands-on or remote troubleshooting and follow through until resolution. • Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices (Windows & mobile devices) and peripheral equipment (monitors, printers, scanners, AV gear, conference-room systems). • Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure AD tenant services, including account provisioning, MFA/conditional-access policies, Teams/SharePoint collaboration spaces, and Intune mobile-device/endpoint management. • Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure (Azure virtual machines, VPN/SD-WAN, SaaS legal-practice platforms). • Deploy and manage modern collaboration & productivity tools (Microsoft Copilot, Copilot for M365, Zoom, Teams, Slack) and train users on best practices. • Leverage scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) and low-code automation (Power Automate, Zapier, Logic Apps) to streamline routine tasks and improve service-desk efficiency. • Monitor system health, performance, and security using modern observability stacks (Azure Monitor, Sentinel, Splunk, CrowdStrike, MDM analytics) and remediate alerts proactively. • Assist with implementation and administration of AI-enabled solutions—e.g., document summarization, contract analysis, predictive text, and chatbots—while enforcing responsible-AI and data-privacy standards. • Maintain accurate inventories of hardware, software licenses, and cloud resources; coordinate lifecycle management, secure disposal, and e-waste compliance. • Contribute to cybersecurity posture: apply patches, manage endpoint protection, enforce Zero-Trust controls, and participate in incident-response drills. • Rotate with peers for after-hours/on-call coverage to support critical firm operations across multiple time zones. • Provide training sessions and create user-friendly documentation, quick-reference guides, and micro-learning videos. • Coordinate office moves or technology refresh projects—including imaging, asset tagging, cabling, and VoIP handset deployments. • Other duties as assigned that support the firm’s evolving technology roadmap. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or related field – or – 3-5 years’ experience in a professional-services help-desk / systems-admin role. • Demonstrated expertise with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 suite, and modern endpoint-management (Intune, Endpoint Central, or equivalent). • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi 6/6E) and experience supporting VPN or SD-WAN solutions. • Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS services (VMs, storage, identity, security). • Basic understanding of PowerShell and one additional scripting language (e.g., Python) for task automation and reporting. • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment while maintaining confidentiality. • Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001) and best practices for data protection, encryption, and incident response. • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. • Excellent documentation, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity or legal-tech offerings (Microsoft Copilot, Lexis+ AI, Westlaw Edge, Harvey AI) and a passion for exploring emerging tools responsibly a PLUS • Law-firm or other professional-services experience a plus, but not required.
