Compensation: $65.00 Location: Houston, Texas Azure Virtualization Systems Administrator: Inceed has partnered with a growing company in the Individual & Family Services Industry to help find a skilled Azure Virtualization Systems Administrator to join their team! This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Virtualization Systems Administrator to join our clients dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing virtualized environments on the Microsoft Azure platform. As an Azure Virtualization Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining virtualization solutions to ensure the optimal performance, security, and scalability of our clients infrastructure. Responsibilities: • Azure Virtualization Management: • Design, deploy, and manage virtualized environments using Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) and other relevant Azure services. • Implement and maintain virtual networks, subnets, and connectivity solutions within the Azure environment. • Monitor and optimize the performance of virtualized systems to ensure reliability and responsiveness. • Infrastructure Deployment and Automation: • Develop and implement automated processes for provisioning, configuring, and scaling virtualized resources on Azure. • Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment pipelines and enhance system automation. • Security and Compliance: • Implement security best practices for virtualized environments, including access controls, encryption, and network security. • Conduct regular security assessments and implement measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Troubleshooting and Support: • Provide technical support for virtualization-related issues, including incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems in a timely manner. • Capacity Planning and Performance Optimization: • Conduct capacity planning to ensure that virtualized resources meet current and future business needs. • Identify and implement performance optimization strategies to enhance the efficiency of virtualized systems. • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: • Maintain comprehensive documentation for virtualization configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines. • Share knowledge and best practices with team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure. Required Qualifications & Experience: • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator with a focus on Azure virtualization. • Strong understanding of Azure services, particularly Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, and related components. • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell or other relevant scripting languages. • Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning in Azure environments. • Solid understanding of security principles and best practices in virtualized environments. Nice to Have Skills & Experience: • Certifications are nice to have. • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar is preferred, not required.
