Role: SQL Server and Cloud Administrator Exp: 10+ Yrs Location: Madison Ave, NY and Jersey City, NJ <4 days a week onsite work mandatory> Type: Contract to hire Local to NY/NJ Note: Investment Banking experience / Equity exp is a MUST Mandatory skills: • Education - Bachelor or higher degree. • 10+ years' experience in working in IT services organization. • At least 8+ years of SQL DBA experience covering implementation, production support and project work. • At least 5+ years of exposure as L3/SME support role. • Knowledge and Understanding of the ITIl process. • In client facing role(s) globally for at least 5 years. • On call support for at least 5 years. • Excellent Documentations skills in MS SharePoint 2010 /2013 • Senior level Microsoft SQL Server DBA with experience in large and critical environments. • Knowledge of performance tuning at both server level and query level. Candidate must have knowledge of perfmon, SQL Server dynamic management views. • Knowledge of SQL server internals. • Knowledge of SQL partitioning and compression • Hands-on experience on mirroring, replication and Always ON • Must have automation experience. Good knowledge of scripting.
