Title: Systems Administrator Department: Information Technology Status: Full Time Location: 501 N. Reo, Tampa, FL 33609 Summary: The Systems Administrator is responsible for implementing and maintaining the PPOA Core Infrastructure and overall end user computing environment supporting our employees as well as our Vendors. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in security, Microsoft 365 (M365), Azure, and Exchange Online. You will be responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring its security, reliability, and optimal performance. This position requires an innovative thinker as well as bringing new ideas and solutions to problems. This position effectively will assist with new technologies to ensure high performance, reliability and security. Reports To: Vice President of Information Technology Duties And Responsibilities • Security: • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and threat analysis. • Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches. • Networking: • Maintain our network infrastructure for high availability and performance. • Knowledge of Cisco Switches and Meraki. • Troubleshoot network issues and optimize network performance. • Microsoft 365 (M365): • Manage and support Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams. • Administer user accounts, licenses, and security settings within the M365 environment. • Collaborate with teams to customize and enhance M365 functionality to meet business needs. • Managing all assets to ensure every tangible piece of IT Equipment is accounted for. • Troubleshoot and provide proactive steps to ensure our network and core infrastructure is always running optimally. • Ensure all core software releases are up-to-date and recommend timing and plans for appropriate system upgrades. • Manage, Maintain and support Varonis • Familiarity with Zero Trust / Software-defined Perimeter • Create and maintain tools and scripts to deploy and configure applications. • Knowledge of Hybrid Exchange Online, Active Directory and Azure AD • Maintain environments including OS updates, software deployments, script creation, and backups. • Knowledge of SCCM preferred. • Perform additional objectives as assigned Experience Requirements • Minimum 1 year of experience in performing system administration duties with windows, monitoring technologies and Office 365 • Currently attending an accredited program or university studying Information Technology Position Requirements • Travel to our locations on an as-needed basis to assist end-users • Experience in monitoring and setting up alerting for Environmental components. • Manage and maintain all infrastructure monitoring and proactively track health and performance of our environment to demonstrate KPIs. • Work directly with our core team and existing Sr. Members to streamline priorities, tasks, and day-to-day responsibilities. • Work directly with other departments to address any technological needs and/or requirements. • Must be team oriented and collaborative with your peers.
