About the Role We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in Azure to oversee our infrastructure and DevOps lifecycle. In this vital role, you will design, scale, and secure our cloud-native architecture that supports distributed microservices and AI-driven business automation workflows. Key Responsibilities • Design and manage Azure-native infrastructure for multi-tenant SaaS applications. • Create and maintain containerized deployments using Kubernetes/AKS. • Own CI/CD workflows (building, testing, and promotion) across different environments. • Implement robust network-level security policies and service-to-service communication frameworks. • Configure scalable, observable systems with modern monitoring and logging tools. • Work alongside engineers to enhance the performance and scalability of distributed services. • Conduct performance tuning, cost optimization, and capacity planning for cloud resources. • Engage in architectural discussions, design reviews, and security assessments for our cloud infrastructure. Required Skills • 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles. • Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure, including services like: • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) • Azure VNETs, Private Endpoints, and NSGs • Azure Key Vault, Blob Storage, App Gateway • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes. • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep. • Familiarity with distributed tracing, monitoring, and alerting practices. • Experience in designing secure, highly available, zero-trust cloud networks. • Adept at optimizing resource utilization and cost-efficiency in infrastructure environments. • Strong knowledge of managing secrets, identities, and service principals in Azure environments. • Understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and secure API exposure in Azure. • Willingness to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs. • Leadership experience in managing complex, multi-workstream initiatives, establishing governance and risk controls, and fostering C-level relationships to drive alignment and decision-making. • Successful track record of developing service offerings, creating go-to-market strategies, and improving client retention through talent development and delivery excellence. • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, mentor talent, and optimize resource allocation for quality delivery and engagement velocity. Preferred Skills • Familiarity with zero-downtime deployment patterns (e.g., blue-green, canary). • Scripting experience in Bash or Python for automation purposes. • Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert, or Solutions Architect Expert. The compensation for this role reflects the diverse factors influencing salary decisions, including skill sets, experience, and organizational needs. The range is estimated at $137,900.00 - $292,600.00 per year, with most individuals being offered below the maximum of this range based on their qualifications and experience.
