Job Summary We're seeking a talented cloud security engineer to augment the product security architecture and operations team, responsible for securing our cloud infrastructure, applications, and solutions within Microsoft Azure environment. You will be working closely with other members of the engineering teams to research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain systems and product solutions, applying expert knowledge of security principles to improve the security posture of our cloud hosted applications. Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions) • Have technical expertise in all areas of Azure cloud resources, such as Key Vaults, Databases, App Services, WAF’s, Front Door, Policy Engine etc. and offer recommendations for improving cloud security posture. • Experience with Active Directory (On-prem & Cloud) and Identity management services (Federated, SSO, Okta etc.) especially related to Users, Service principals and Managed identities. • Skilled at developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in Azure DevOps leveraging Terraform, BICEP etc. while collaboratively working with Product managers, DevOps & Infrastructure Engineering teams. • Leverage organization skills, technical acumen, and communications skills as a member of security team to determine the impact of security issues and establish action plans to remediate security risks. • Lead security assessments of cloud-hosted and hybrid architectures, containerization technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc). • Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or Computer Science Skills and Minimum Experience Required • Strong presentation, documentation, communication and influencing skills for working with less-technical business partners as well as technologists in IT leadership and implementation teams. • Demonstrable ability to analyze business direction and problems, understand long term vision and risk in developing strategic technical solutions. • Experience with Threat Modelling tools (Irius, Cairis, Kenna, Microsoft etc.) • Azure Security Certifications a plus We value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
