Job description

We are looking for a skilled Power BI developer to create a comprehensive sales dashboard and a set of key performance indicator (KPI) visuals. The goal is to provide a clear, easy-to-read, and dynamic view of our sales performance, allowing us to track and analyze key metrics over time. The project will involve building the following: KPI Scorecard: A top-level dashboard with key metrics including MTD Sales, Transactions/Day, Average Transaction Value (ATV), and Sales Variance. The MTD Sales figure should be based on Net Sales. The Transactions per Day should be calculated as Total Ticket IDs divided by the number of days in the period. The ATV should be calculated as Net Sales divided by the total number of Ticket IDs. The Sales Variance should be a comparison of Net Sales from the current period versus the previous period. These metrics should compare the current period to the same time period in the previous month. Sales by Month Chart: A line chart showing Net Sales over time, comparing the current year's performance to the previous year. Average Transaction Value (ATV) by Month Chart: A bar chart illustrating the ATV over time. The calculation for each month should be the sum of Net Sales divided by the number of ticket IDs. Transactions by Month Chart: A line chart showing the number of Transactions per day over time. This should be calculated by dividing the total ticket IDs by the number of days in the period.
