We are seeking a dedicated DevOps Specialist to enhance our Azure-based infrastructure, lead GitOps/IaC best practices, and ensure our platform adheres to the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: • Build & Scale Green Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage Azure (AKS, Terraform, GitOps) systems that power real-time climate analytics. • Automate for Impact: Own CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) to accelerate the deployment of climate data services. • Optimize for Performance & Sustainability: Monitor and adjust cloud resources for cost-efficiency, low latency, and minimal carbon footprint. • Secure & Future-Proof: Fortify infrastructure (IAM, networking, compliance) to protect sensitive environmental datasets. • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with data scientists and developers to ensure a reliable, high-availability platform. Must-Have Skills: • Azure Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with AKS, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and IaC. • GitOps & CI/CD: Proven history with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Azure Pipelines. • Microsoft Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows Server, PowerShell, Active Directory. • Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Kubernetes (AKS preferred), Helm, Docker. • Monitoring & Reliability: Skills in Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools. • Problem-Solver Attitude: Ability to manage outages, troubleshoot complex systems, and document solutions. Nice-to-Have: • Experience with Cloudflare, Bitbucket, or sustainability-focused technology. • Knowledge of green cloud computing best practices.
