HOW AN E2E SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems, coordinating system development including design, engineering, modeling, security, integration, and implementation. Experience in modeling/simulation and command/control (C2) systems. Understanding of the Joint Live Virtual Constructive framework in training environments and the interoperability between Simulation (JLCCTC, JCATS, etc.) and C2 systems. Knowledge of Integration Engineering protocols HLA (High-Level Architecture) and DIS (Distributed Interactive Simulation). Responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and critical infrastructure. Skilled in administering both Microsoft (Windows Server) and Linux (RedHat) environments. Understanding of Cloud Platform Design & Architecture and Deployment & Infrastructure Management. Experience with virtual environments using VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) and Microsoft Hyper-V. Background in systems engineering, simulation technology, or military operations. Strong communication and documentation skills. Positive, self-motivated, capable of working independently and in teams. Participation in special projects as required. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: BS/BA preferred in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience, certifications, or training. 3+ years of experience. Military training and support highly preferred. Baseline computing certifications required. Experience building BCCS stacks; Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF); VMware skills; understanding of DISA STIGs; WAN/LAN experience; TCP/IP troubleshooting; hardware/software knowledge; software engineering principles. Technical Skills: Installing/configuring software; HBSS administration; SQL experience. Security Clearance: SECRET required, with ability to obtain TS/SCI. Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication, documentation, advisory, and educational skills; team player; adaptable to rapid changes. Location: On-site with moderate travel within the Pacific region.
