Job SummaryAs a DevOps Engineer – Windows, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring Windows operating systems, servers, and related infrastructure. This position will have a strong focus on using products like Ansible, Salt, Terraform, Jenkins, Github, Chocolatey etc. to ensure reproducible environments that are able to scale out both on-premise and on the cloud (Azure, AWS). The DevOps Engineer- Windows will also provide technical support to end-users and collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure optimal system performance and security. As such, the ideal candidate must have experience clearly explaining solutions to complex problems and demonstrate the ability to lead and impart knowledge effectively to IT and Business stakeholders.This is a multi-tasking environment that demands customer service, communication, and organizational skills. A successful candidate will be motivated, results-oriented, and have a willingness to learn.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experienceExtensive knowledge in automating system and application lifecyclesWorking knowledge of enterprise data center technologies including storage platforms, network switching, and security infrastructure within a virtualized data centerStrong knowledge of Windows operating systems, servers, and related infrastructureStrong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other Windows services.Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWSKnowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processesAdept at evaluating problems accurately and displaying sound judgementScripting (python, etc.) skills for monitoring and automationExperience maintaining an infrastructure and ensuring stability while adding new featuresAbility to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and toolsComfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deploymentPossess a strong grasp of automation toolsComfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional bordersMinimum 2 years experience in a similar position
