Position Summary: The D365 System Administrator will oversee and drive technical projects from start to finish, utilizing expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and the Microsoft Power Platform. This role includes managing system upgrades, maintaining SDLC compliance, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. You'll provide technical guidance throughout all phases of projects—from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities: • Technical Leadership: Lead delivery of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and Power Platform projects, including full deployment pipelines from sandbox to production. • Project Engagement: Participate in discovery, requirements gathering, testing, training, and go-live activities; serve as a solution advisor during design, development, and deployment. • System & Process Expertise: Maintain and upgrade D365 F&O, implement updates, and recommend process improvements across finance operations. • Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with teammates, stakeholders, and executives to build strong relationships and deliver successful outcomes. • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to SDLC standards while supporting methodology and process enhancements. Stay current with D365 and Microsoft platform updates. • Documentation & Design: Prepare thorough functional design documentation. • Additional Duties: Support organizational and departmental objectives as assigned. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, finance, or a related field, OR equivalent education/experience. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a D365 F&O Engineer/Admin. • In-depth technical knowledge of D365 F&O modules. • X++ development experience. • Demonstrated ability to optimize processes and reduce month-end close timelines. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex ERP systems. • Experience with D365 integrations with other finance systems/tools. • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Preferred: Experience in Treasury Management, familiarity with support/ticketing systems, and ability to manage vendor relationships. • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
