Salary Range: Based on Experience We're looking for an experienced Senior C# Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain robust and scalable web services and APIs. The ideal candidate has substantial experience with the C# language and the modern .NET development ecosystem, particularly ASP.NET Core and MVC on .NET 5.0 and later. You will be responsible for creating secure, high-performance REST APIs and gRPC services that power our web, iOS, and Android applications. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, data modeling, and containerized deployments, as well as experience with asynchronous communication patterns. Responsibilities • Architect, develop, and maintain backend web services (REST and gRPC) using C# and ASP.NET Core. • Design and implement large, secure, and well-documented API schemas, utilizing Protocol Buffers for high-performance service communication. • Integrate services with message brokers such as Kafka or Azure Event Hub to enable asynchronous and event-driven data flows. • Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of all services, with a strong focus on HTTP protocols, REST conventions, and security protocols like OAuth2. • Integrate backend services with various Azure cloud components, including blob storage, IaaS, and PaaS. • Develop data access layers for both relational and NoSQL databases, with a focus on MongoDB. • Work with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestrators like Kubernetes. • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and monitoring. • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features. • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Required Qualifications • Substantial experience as a backend developer, with a proven track record of building and deploying web services in a production environment. • Expertise in C# and the .NET development environment, specifically with ASP.NET Core and MVC on frameworks 5.0 and later. • Direct experience developing high-performance services using gRPC and defining message structures using Protocol Buffers. • Experience integrating with message brokers such as Kafka or Azure Event Hubs for inter-service communication. • Comprehensive knowledge of designing secure and consistent APIs, including detailed knowledge of HTTP protocols, REST conventions, and security protocols like OAuth2. • Experience with Azure cloud services and their integration into backend systems. • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB. • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes and Helm. • Proficiency with source control systems, particularly Git. • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
