Position: IT & Network Support Specialist Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Location: Onsite in Columbus, IN with travel to other nearby sites in Indiana and Ohio Please note: The client is not able to sponsor or transfer any type of visa at this time. Only candidates authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship will be considered Overview We are seeking an experienced IT & Network Support Specialist to be based onsite at our Columbus, IN facility. This individual will serve as the primary technical support resource for multiple PCA locations across Indiana and Ohio. Responsibilities include both general IT support and network troubleshooting, with occasional travel to sites such as Edinburgh, Gas City, Vincennes, Middletown (OH), and Fairfield (OH). This role requires daily onsite presence unless traveling to another PCA location. Requirements Work Experience: 5–9 years of relevant IT and network support experience, including: • Support for desktops, laptops, tablets, servers, mobile devices, and virtual environments • Strong understanding of network concepts (Switches, TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, SSH, packet capture tools) • Experience with VMware, Microsoft Server, SCCM, and Active Directory • Proficiency in O365, including Outlook and MS Teams • Troubleshooting help desk service requests using ticketing systems • Background in manufacturing IT environments • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting • Familiarity with wireless solutions (Aruba, Aerohive, Cisco) Skills • Solid grasp of Windows OS (desktop and server) • Veeam backup experience is a plus • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills • Excellent written and verbal communication • Ability to work independently as the sole IT resource onsite Interview Process • Initial video interview with IT team members • Onsite interview at the plant, including: • In-person discussion • Meeting with plant management • Facility tour Note: This is a fully onsite position with no remote option. The selected candidate will serve as the sole onsite IT professional for this location.
