Position Description Summary: The Power Platform Developer is responsible for delivering innovative business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and SharePoint Online. This role involves planning, developing, and deploying business process automation, data visualizations, and collaboration tools. The developer will also provide ongoing support, including troubleshooting, training, and ensuring compliance with organizational security policies. This position requires strong experience in information processing, system administration, and low-code/no-code development within Microsoft 365 environments. The developer will collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and optimize workflows while maintaining data integrity and security. Responsibilities: • Develop, deploy, and maintain reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and ServiceNow. • Build and manage Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, PowerApps, Power BI) hosted within SharePoint Online. • Configure and manage modern SharePoint Online site collections, including site permissions, settings, configurations, and security. • Create and manage SharePoint site objects (lists, libraries, web parts, hub and associated site architectures). • Develop and integrate Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to support low-code/no-code development models within M365 and SharePoint Online. • Utilize JSON for modern SharePoint list formatting and form customization. • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and end-user assistance for deployed solutions. • Conduct user training sessions and develop training materials for business applications and platforms. • Analyze business processes, conduct feasibility studies, and recommend technical solutions to improve efficiency. • Research trends and patterns in reported issues to proactively improve system performance and user experience. • Ensure alignment with organizational policies for Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and data governance. • Ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and DLA security policies, principles, and practices. • Support implementation of DLA PII policies in reporting and collaboration solutions. Required Skills & Experience • Minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in information processing, with at least: · Three (3) years of specialized experience in information systems involving various hardware/software solutions. · Two (2) years of hands-on experience installing, diagnosing, and training users in software/hardware solutions. · Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI). · Strong experience with SharePoint Online administration and site configuration. · Familiarity with modern web technologies such as JSON for SharePoint customization. · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. · Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. · Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with distributed teams. • Preferred Experience · Experience integrating APIs and services for business process automation. · Familiarity with ServiceNow dashboards and reporting. · Knowledge of DoD/DLA PII policies and information security best practices. Education: • Required: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. • Preferred: Additional certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, or related Microsoft 365 technologies. Security Clearance Required: • Secret clearance or equivalent investigation possessing a favorable Tier 3 (T3)/NACLC at the time of hire.
