You will support Leidos QTC's business continuity and crisis management activities, including, but not limited to, developing and maintaining Business Continuity Plans for LQTC, assisting in the development of analytic products to measure organizational preparedness and recovery metrics, developing of policy and procedure documents, coordinating staff emergency response training, and anticipating, planning and managing the coordinated response to significant events which disrupt business. Primary Responsibilities: • Maintain and update Leidos QTC's departmental business impact analysis and business continuity plans; organize group/business unit feedback to scope the crisis and form a common operating picture for the corporation. • Assist in the development and facilitation of departmental business continuity exercises, document exercise results, apply lessons learned and prior business impact analysis to enable effective business continuity and disaster recovery efforts • Coordinate with other functional peers to write and review Incident Response Plans and Procedures incorporating diverse viewpoints and capabilities assessments • Support company-wide efforts to train staff in preparation for emergencies • Capture metrics for measuring program effectiveness and trending analysis; provides reports to executive management; help develop after-action reports (AAR) to include lessons learned and recommendations; develop risk-based decision matrices; offer prioritizing risk mitigation investments/options for consideration • Conduct research of industry best practices in business continuity planning and administration in accordance to local, state, and/or national rules and regulations • Assist in the execution of a crisis communications plan for informing LQTC employees and leadership of measures to take prior to, during, and after an emergency/crisis (e.g. natural disaster, onsite incident, blackout, etc.) • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Required Qualifications: • Currently a Jr/Sr enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Business Continuity/Resilience, Emergency Management, Crisis Management or related field at an accredited college or university. • We will also consider currently enrolled graduate students with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Continuity/Resilience, Emergency Management, Crisis Management or related field at an accredited college or university. • Min 2.8 GPA cumulative Preferred Qualifications: • Strong communication skills; demonstrated ability to operate successfully in time-critical circumstances when lives and resources may be at risk • Able to present clearly to leadership teams • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing a workload with competing priorities and time-sensitive deadline deliverables • Detail-oriented, creative thinker with the ability to strategize and solve complex problems • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Familiarity with standard incident response principles, such as FEMA's Incident Command System • Solid understanding of business continuity and crisis management • Strong organization skills and keen attention to detail • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Positive professional demeanor • Ability to work independently or in a team environment Additional Information: • Compensation ranges • Jr/Sr = $18.80 - $28.20 • Grad = $21.22 - $31.83 About Leidos QTC Health Services: Leidos QTC Health Services collaborates closely with government and non-government customers to address current and future program needs within the health services domain.
