Lead .Net Core Developer BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Lead .Net Core Developer opportunity in Chicago, IL! Position Title: Lead .Net Core Developer Location: Chicago, IL Anticipated Start Date: 08/18 Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: 5+ months contract + Renewable Job Type: [FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY) [CONTRACT], [HYBRID] Pay Range: $50 - $52/hr Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). The right candidates have expert level experience in: • React • React Reusable Components • Redux • Redux Sagas • Dotnet Core • Microservice Architecture • A proven and impressive resume of enterprise level accomplishments Job overview and responsibilities As a lead software developer, you will be responsible for the development of mission critical applications, while working with a team of developers. You will design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing applications. Additionally, as a lead developer, you will build these applications with a focus on delivering cloud-based solutions. The individual will use leading edge technologies and enterprise grade integration software daily. You will be relied upon to help take this team to the next level from a technological standpoint. • Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements • Become an expert regarding our applications. • Support, maintain, and document software functionality • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements • Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs • Works without supervision with complete latitude for independent judgment • Mentor less experienced peers and display leadership as needed Required • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience • 10+ years of experience in design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use • 5+ years of experience with React, Redux, Sagas, and Jest • 7+ years of experience with Agile Software Development Methodology. • 5+ years of experience with Software Development Languages & Tools, Dotnet Core, C#, ASP.NET/MVC, Web API, WCF, MS Visual Studio, MS TFS, GitHub, Jira, Azure DevOps • Proficiency in Software Development best practices such as - Continuous Integration, Unit / Integration testing, Code reviews • Thorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dotnet Core Technology Stack • 3+ year of experience with the Cloud Computing - AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, NET Core 6.x Preferred • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems • 2+ years of experience with NoSQL Database such as Redis, MongoDB, Elastic Search, and distributed queues such as Apache Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or MQTT.
