Sr Solutions Architect – Cloud & Next-Gen Data Center National Solutions Provider | High-Impact Pre-Sales Role A top-performing, multi-billion dollar National Technology Solutions Provider & MSP is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead pre-sales efforts focused on Cloud, Hybrid Infrastructure, and Next-Gen Data Center solutions. This will be a regional role focused on serving mid-market Commercial and Enterprise clients in the greater Chicago region. This high-impact, client-facing role will engage strategic accounts across the region, helping architect complex solutions that drive digital transformation and long-term infrastructure modernization. We’re looking for a seasoned technologist who combines deep technical credibility with strong business acumen and polished client-facing skills. HYBRID REMOTE ROLE: Combination of working remotely from home, getting out to client sites to engage with clients, and collaborating in-office with colleagues in the Sales & Pre Sales organization. Why You’ll Want This Role • Elite Client Base: Influence infrastructure roadmaps at Fortune 1000 and high-growth enterprise clients • Comp Package: Competitive base, lucrative bonus potential, full benefits, PTO, 401(k) match, and paid certifications • Culture: Entrepreneurial, forward-thinking team with a collaborative and high-accountability approach What You’ll Be Doing • Driving pre-sales solutioning across Cloud Infrastructure, Hybrid Cloud, Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), Storage, Virtualization, and Automation • Engaging clients in whiteboard sessions, architecture reviews, and executive briefings to align technical solutions with business outcomes • Creating and delivering compelling ROI/TCO models, solution presentations, and technical roadmaps • Building technical scopes of work, bill of materials, and supporting documentation for proposals • Collaborating with internal engineering teams and external vendor/channel partners to deliver best-in-class solutions • Participating in partner and client-facing events, workshops, and webinars as a subject matter expert • Staying current on emerging technologies across private cloud, containers, orchestration, and security integration What You Bring • 8+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or consulting focused on Infrastructure, Data Center & Cloud technologies • Proven success designing solutions across IaaS/PaaS, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), HCI, enterprise storage, backup & recovery, and hybrid models • Strong knowledge of Storage & Cloud architectures and migration strategies • Certifications strongly preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, VMware VCP/VCAP, Nutanix NCP/NCM, etc. • Confident presenter and communicator, capable of interfacing with C-level and technical stakeholders • Passion for learning, growth, and team success Benefits & Perks • Competitive base + bonus structure • Full Medical/Dental/Vision • 401(k) with match • Generous PTO + paid holidays • Paid training, certifications & career development support If you're a consultative technical leader with a passion for next-gen infrastructure and want to shape the cloud and data center strategies of top-tier clients — we’d love to hear from you - Please apply today or you can send your resume to me directly for immediate consideration: Chuck@levelociti.com
