Primary Purpose • Drive the development of innovative machine learning solutions at XCM. • Deliver impactful machine learning models tailored to client needs. • Provide comprehensive documentation and content for all projects. • Effectively communicate findings and insights to both internal teams and external stakeholders. • Enhance client ROI with data-driven solutions customized to meet specific business requirements. • Support ongoing analytics and planned initiatives on client roadmaps as necessary. • Assist XCM analysts with applying statistical techniques. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate closely with the lead Data Scientist and Director of Analytics to build a suite of advanced machine learning solutions. • Participate in the design, creation, implementation, testing, and maintenance of machine learning solutions. • Develop data models to analyze and predict customer interactions, including sales behavior, web traffic, email performance, and social media trends. • Create technical documentation and marketing content associated with various projects. • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance the XCM data modeling roadmap. • Confidently present analytics and proposals to colleagues and clients. • Manage larger, complex statistical projects to generate actionable insights. • Guide collaborative actions based on analytical recommendations with the analytics, campaign, and client management teams. • Address ad-hoc data inquiries as necessary. • Commit to continuous improvement and leadership in your role. • Achieve your agreed objectives and manage your personal development program. • Maintain high standards and discipline in your work. • Oversee your quarterly appraisal process and documentation. Experience & Qualities • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a mathematical or computing field. • At least 2 years of experience writing production-level Python code. • Expertise in numpy, pandas, and sklearn. • Strong grasp of machine learning algorithms and workflows. • Experience in scoping and developing machine learning initiatives such as recommender systems. • Familiarity with containerized deployment (Docker). • Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and version control systems. • Proficient in SQL for data analysis. • Fully proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
