Job Title: AD Architect End Client: TBD Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid 2 3 days onsite per week) Availability for Interviews: Next week between 06:00 10:00 PM IST Rate: TBD Role Overview We are anticipating an opening for an Active Directory (AD) Architect to support a key engagement with our client in Houston, TX. The selected candidate will play a critical role in the design, architecture, and optimization of enterprise-scale AD environments. This is a hybrid position, requiring candidates to work 2 3 days per week onsite at the client location in Houston, TX. Key Responsibilities • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Active Directory solutions. • Assess existing infrastructure and recommend improvements for scalability, security, and performance. • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align AD solutions with organizational objectives. • Provide guidance and documentation on AD governance, best practices, and standards. • Troubleshoot complex AD-related issues and ensure system stability. • Support identity and access management initiatives including Azure AD and hybrid models. Required Skills & Experience • Proven expertise in Active Directory architecture, design, and administration. • Strong knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, FSMO roles, and replication. • Experience with AD migrations, upgrades, and enterprise integrations. • Ability to work in complex, global enterprise environments. • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications • Microsoft certifications in Active Directory / Azure AD. • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards. • Previous experience in large enterprise-scale deployments.
