Job Description We are seeking a Web Developer to work on OMIS-A (Operational Medicine Information Systems – Army) as part of an AGILE development team. The role involves working with HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, C#.NET, SQL, Artificial Intelligence, and Microsoft Azure DevOps to develop business applications for a government client. The developer will collaborate with analysts, project leads, UI/UX developers, testers, and customers to define requirements, implement business logic, and refine applications. Additionally, the role includes supporting and troubleshooting existing production applications. Responsibilities Research, design, develop, and modify software systems, including custom and GOTS solutions. Collaborate with business analysts, UI/UX developers, and subject matter experts to understand requirements. Conduct impact analysis for software changes. Adhere to configuration change control standards. Propose system improvements. Create detailed specifications, write code, and perform unit testing. Develop interfaces and conversion routines using web APIs. Support formal testing before deployment. Assist in creating user training manuals. Keep updated on feature and technical changes in the application. Qualifications Required Active Secret clearance Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 2+ years relevant web development experience Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS Experience with C#.NET and Bootstrap Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services Knowledge of web development principles and standards Ability to manage multiple priorities Self-motivated and proactive Desired Microsoft Azure Developer Associate certification Experience with AI tools and Python CompTIA Security+ Certification Knowledge of Agile development and the DoD community This position is contingent on funding and may be filled at any time.
