Senior Power Platform Developer Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid – 2 days remote per week) Client: Government Pay: $45-$50/hr Contract Duration: August 4, 2025 – August 3, 2026 (Possibility of extension) Application Deadline: July 8, 2025 at 5:00 PM EST Position Overview: Brooksource is seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform Developer with strong expertise in Web Design, Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, and GenAI-driven tools for our government client. This role is essential in supporting the development, maintenance, and enhancement of cloud-based and on-premises solutions that improve user experience, streamline business processes, and drive digital transformation. Key Responsibilities: Technical Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate). • Build and integrate GenAI-driven tools using Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SCDOR cloud applications and SharePoint environments. • Provide technical support and training for SharePoint and Power Platform users. • Gather requirements, design, and deploy new PowerApps and SharePoint features. • Develop and enhance PowerApps (model-driven and canvas apps). • Ensure integration of Power Platform solutions with other enterprise systems. • Utilize technologies such as HTML5, .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, CSS3, and REST APIs. • Install, configure, test, and maintain application software and servers. • Create governance, instructional, and user-friendly documentation. • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements. • Perform root cause analysis and escalate complex issues as needed. • Ensure compliance with corporate information security policies and industry standards. Non-Technical Responsibilities: • Communicate effectively with peers and Director-level IT professionals. • Provide confident and clear user support and training. • Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, maintaining professionalism under pressure. • Offer feedback on product issues, enhancements, and new features. • Demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. • Manage multiple tasks concurrently and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. • Collaborate with peers and leadership to resolve client issues and contribute to a shared knowledge base. • Maintain accurate Helpdesk records and ensure timely resolution of issues. • Deliver high-quality solutions with attention to detail and a commitment to excellent client service. • Document and hand off troubleshooting steps for team continuity.
