Principal Solutions Architect – Network, SDN & Cloud Connectivity National Solutions Provider | High-Impact Pre-Sales Role | Leadership Growth Path | OH & IN Territory A top-ranked, National Technology Solutions Provider is seeking a Principal or Senior Solutions Architect to lead pre-sales architecture efforts focused on Next-Gen Networking, SDN, and Network Cloud solutions. This client-facing role will support strategic Commercial and Enterprise accounts across Ohio and Indiana, delivering innovative designs around network modernization, secure connectivity, and hybrid network-cloud integration. We’re looking for a senior technologist with deep technical expertise, strong pre-sales presence, and the ability to engage key stakeholders across business and IT. Why You’ll Want This Role • Leadership Track: Clear growth path into Practice Management or Architectural Strategy • Strategic Clients: Drive infrastructure modernization at Fortune 1000 and high-growth regional organizations • Comp Package: Competitive base + strong bonus potential, full benefits, 401(k) match, paid certs & generous PTO • Culture: Entrepreneurial, high-performance team with strong support and a collaborative mindset What You’ll Be Doing • Leading solution design for Enterprise Network, SDN (Software Defined Networking), SASE, and Cloud-Based Networking architectures • Engaging in whiteboarding, deep-dive sessions, and executive briefings to align technical strategy with business needs • Creating and presenting ROI / TCO models, solution roadmaps, and client-facing deliverables • Collaborating with OEMs and channel partners on joint go-to-market efforts and regional opportunities • Producing detailed technical documentation: BOMs, SOWs, solution overviews, and implementation plans • Staying current with evolving trends in network automation, zero trust, multicloud networking, and edge infrastructure • Supporting client events, workshops, and marketing efforts as a technical evangelist What You Bring • 8+ years in a pre-sales architecture or consulting role focused on Enterprise Networking, SDN, or Network Cloud • Experience with modern networking technologies such as: • SD-WAN, SASE, Cloud On-Ramp, ACI, DNA Center, Meraki, Aruba, Prisma, etc. • Cloud Networking with AWS, Azure, or GCP (Transit Gateway, VNet, VPC, Direct Connect, etc.) • Strong presentation and whiteboarding skills with a client-first approach • Certifications highly preferred: CCIE, CCNP, CCDE, NSE, PCNSE, AWS Network Specialty, etc. • Passion for modern networking and the future of distributed infrastructure Benefits & Perks • Competitive base + performance-based bonus • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance • 401(k) with company match • Generous PTO + Paid Holidays • Paid certifications, training programs & continuous career development support If you're a strategic-minded pre-sales architect with a passion for modern networking and want to make an impact across the Ohio/Indiana enterprise landscape — let’s connect.
