About The Role As a Network/Video Support Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering and maintaining the high-performance infrastructure behind our Remote Video Guarding services. Your work will directly impact the safety and security of clients across diverse industries, helping deploy scalable, intelligent video solutions that operate around the clock. Key Responsibilities • Evaluate, configure, and optimize client network environments to ensure seamless system performance and maximum uptime. • Assist with the design, implementation, and testing of new deployments across varied site configurations. • Troubleshoot issues across networking and video systems, resolving problems quickly and effectively. • Create and refine internal processes to drive operational efficiency and consistency. • Design and deploy remote access solutions for proactive and automated system management. • Identify and recommend enhancements for future product and system development. • Provide after-hours support for urgent system issues as needed. • Mentor and support team members, sharing best practices and technical insights. • Contribute to documentation, knowledge base content, and user support tools. What We’re Looking For • Strong understanding of IP networking, including OSI layers, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN environments. • Hands-on experience troubleshooting networks using diagnostic tools and root cause analysis. • Familiarity with IP cameras, A/V codecs, and network video technologies (a strong plus). • Ability to work across departments to deliver results in complex environments. • Systematic thinker with strong attention to detail and a passion for solving problems. • Organized, process-driven, and self-motivated. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 3+ years in network or systems engineering roles. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS; working familiarity with *nix systems. • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
