GovCIO is seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Notebook Python/PySpark Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing Azure Notebook, PySpark/Python ETL processes. You will also work with Synapse databases and engage in SQL development, contributing to enterprise data warehouse projects. This is a remote position with occasional on-site requirements in Fort Lee, VA. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, test, and implement ETL processes using Notebook, PySpark, and Python within the Azure environment. • Work proficiently with Synapse databases and SQL to manage data effectively. • Engage in enterprise data warehouse projects, ensuring best practices are followed. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience. • 5+ years of experience in developing Notebook, PySpark/Python solutions, and working in Synapse & Azure environments. • Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and business intelligence methodologies. • Excellent skills in requirement gathering, data analysis, and customer engagement. • Security+ certification. • Must have a Secret clearance. Preferred Skills and Experience: • Familiarity with Informatica and Teradata. • Experience with BI reporting tools such as PowerBI, Business Objects, and Tableau. The expected salary range for this position is USD $110,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 per year. The final pay rate offered may vary based on several factors, including location, skills, experience, and internal equity.
