Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to help drive the implementation of a unified data platform using Microsoft Fabric. This is a greenfield project, providing the opportunity to design and build a robust data infrastructure from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft's data stack, strong technical expertise in cloud data platforms, and a proven track record in data integration, ETL pipelines, and data governance practices. Key Responsibilities: • Contribute to Design of the end-to-end data platform using Microsoft Fabric to unify data from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, flat files). • Build ETL Pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data into the unified platform, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and performance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver scalable solutions. • Implement Data Governance frameworks, ensuring proper data quality, lineage, security, and compliance with organizational standards. • Develop and optimize Data Models and Data Warehousing solutions to support analytics and reporting capabilities. • Automate workflows and processes for real-time and batch data processing. • Integrate and manage diverse data sources, ensuring compatibility with Microsoft Fabric and maximizing data usability. • Test Create and execute unit & integration tests to ensure quality delivery. • Monitor and Troubleshoot data pipelines, resolving any performance or operational issues in a timely manner. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. • Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric technologies, including: • Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and Dataverse. • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and data warehousing principles. • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms and integrating large-scale datasets from various sources. • Proficient in SQL, Python, or other data engineering programming languages. • Experience with data governance, data quality frameworks, and security best practices. • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and automating data workflows. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent. Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $63.86 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule Work Location: Remote
