What This Is As a Data Analyst, you’ll help ensure the integrity of our business data by supporting Master Data Management efforts and enabling teams to make smarter, data driven decisions. If you’re naturally curious, detail oriented, and enjoy making sense and fixing data, this role is for you. You’ll act as the go-to resource for all things business data, partnering with teams across the organization to assess current processes, clean and maintain key data sets, and implement improvements that enhance overall data quality. You’ll also play a key role in rolling out changes, sharing updates, and training team members to maintain consistency and drive ongoing improvements, all with the goal of supporting a better customer experience through accurate, reliable information. What you will be doing as a key player on our dynamic team: • Cleansing, validating, and maintaining data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and consistency. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data and reporting requirements. • Supporting data management activities across core business systems, including ERP (e.g., Epicor Solar Eclipse), business intelligence platforms (e.g., Phocas, Power BI), and data aggregators (e.g., Trade Service, DDS ). • Communicating and training team members on new and existing data processes to drive consistent reporting and maintain data quality standards. • Assisting in the development and evaluation of data models to ensure alignment with business needs, particularly around product, customer, and vendor data. • Gathering and analyzing data to support business insights and ensure data integrity across reporting functions. • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and tools using business intelligence solutions. Experience • Worked extensively with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and relational databases to support data analysis and reporting • Utilized tools such as Power BI, Phocas, and similar platforms to build dashboards and visualize data insights • Maintained high accuracy while managing large and complex data sets across multiple systems • Applied strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot data issues and implement effective solutions • Communicated findings and process updates clearly through both verbal and written communication • Contributed successfully in fast-paced, team-oriented environments with shifting priorities • Delivered high-quality, detail-oriented work that consistently met project objectives Core Competencies • Data savvy • Critical thinker • Analytical and creative thinking • Strong attention to detail • High work standards • Organized • Initiative Other Requirements • Strong database skills in Excel, SQL, and/or other programming languages • Clear, concise, logical verbal and written communication.
