Job Description We’re looking for a passionate .NET / C# Backend Engineer who thrives on building robust, scalable systems — and is excited to work at the intersection of AI and cloud infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in designing and maintaining backend services, integrating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models, and deploying high-performance applications in Microsoft Azure. Job Requirements Key Responsibilities • Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET Core. • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. • Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate RAG pipelines, vector databases, and other LLM-based features into production systems. • Manage and deploy services in Azure (App Services, Functions, Kubernetes, DevOps Pipelines, etc.). • Ensure reliability, scalability, and security across all backend systems. • Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and best practice documentation. • Monitor and optimize system performance and costs in Azure. Required Skills & Experience • 3+ years of experience in backend development with C# / .NET Core. • Strong understanding of API design, microservices, and asynchronous programming. • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure (App Services, Functions, AKS, DevOps). • Experience with AI integrations — especially RAG models, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Azure Cognitive Search, FAISS), and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.). • Proficiency in SQL / NoSQL databases (e.g., MSSQL, CosmosDB, PostgreSQL). • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes). Nice-to-Have • Experience with Python or Node.js for AI pipeline integration. • Knowledge of Azure Cognitive Services, AI Search, or OpenAI SDK. • Exposure to event-driven systems (Service Bus, Event Grid). • Passion for exploring new AI technologies and improving developer experience.
