Job Title: IT Program Manager (PMP, Public Sector, MS Project/SharePoint 7+ yrs) Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification Key Responsibilities • Manage and coordinate all aspects of small, medium, and large-scale IT projects with moderate to high complexity and risk. • Oversee all phases of the project and software development life cycle (SDLC), ensuring alignment with business goals and contractual obligations. • Collaborate closely with OIT teams, DAS business leads, vendors, analysts, and subject matter experts across system support teams. • Manage projects in accordance with Statements of Work (SOWs), vendor contracts, and directives from the project steering committee. • Develop and maintain project management documentation, including scope, risk, communication, and change control plans. • Monitor project performance, prepare detailed status reports, and communicate progress, risks, and issues to leadership. • Lead status and review meetings; provide recommendations on project adjustments as needed. • Oversee cost, schedule, and resource management, including time and budget tracking. • Facilitate process assessments and improvement initiatives to optimize project delivery. • Coordinate with quality assurance teams and vendor project managers to ensure adherence to standards and deliverable quality. • Conduct formal project closeout reviews, verifying deliverable quality and capturing lessons learned. • Build and maintain productive relationships with project sponsors, vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success. Mandatory Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent specialized training. • Minimum 7 years of IT project management experience, including projects of moderate to high complexity. • PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent (must upload certification). • Proficiency with Microsoft tools, including: • MS Project • MS Visio • SharePoint 2013 • Microsoft 365 (O365 Suite) • Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills. • Minimum 4 years of experience with: • Microsoft Office • Project management practices • SharePoint • Microsoft Teams Preferred Qualifications • Experience within the last 5 years leading or coordinating vendor-managed projects. • Prior public sector IT experience. • Experience working in an outsourced IT environment. • Demonstrated executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, build consensus, and deliver results under pressure.
