The role focuses on ensuring seamless operations across on-prem and cloud infrastructures, leveraging Azure to optimize performance and scalability. • Maintain and administer Windows Server environments across on-prem and cloud-hosted infrastructure. • Troubleshoot, triage issues, and implement best practices to improve security, efficiency, and resilience. • Develop automated processes and procedures to enhance team productivity. • Collaborate with stakeholders on system rebuild projects and security hardening. • Contribute to continuous improvement of operations and configuration management. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume. The position requires a minimum of three (3) years of IT-related experience in server/hosting systems, network technologies, ticketing system, and Windows server technical support within a hybrid on-prem and cloud-hosted environment. Experience must include: • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server administration. • Sophisticated troubleshooting ability, including forming hypotheses based on likelihood and testing possible causes. • Advanced experience in problem diagnosis, remediation, and testing. • Knowledge of Microsoft operating system scripting, including batch files, PowerShell, registry manipulation, scheduled tasks, and command-based configuration. • Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages to facilitate mutual understanding. • Customer service skills including active listening, empathy, and problem-solving. A masters degree in Information Technology or an IT-related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience, OR an IT-related bachelors degree substitutes for two (2) years, OR an IT-related associates degree substitutes for one (1) year. Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy implementation and best practices. • Knowledge and understanding of Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance. • Experience and understanding of server administrator concepts, including server creation, physical server conversions and host server operations.
