Machine Learning Systems Analyst Job at a Glance: • Job Title: Machine Learning Systems Analyst • Location: Hybrid; Kissimmee, FL • Contract Length: W2 Contract only, 12 months initial with likelihood of extension of up to 22 months or conversion to full-time employment status • Pay Rate: $70.00/hour – $75.00/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Support Analyst to maintain the operational reliability of our Customer Engagement (CE) modeling and analytics software applications. This role ensures CE model data flows, dashboards, and extracts are up-to-date and functioning correctly on a daily basis. You will diagnose and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance, supporting downstream CE system users and ensuring the seamless operation of business-critical platforms. The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of hands-on experience supporting or developing data analytics or ML platforms, with the ability to solve business-focused problems. This position is well-suited for Data Scientists with pipeline experience or Data Analysts with strong SQL and pipeline knowledge, who are eager to apply their technical skills in a customer-centric, business-driven environment. Key Responsibilities • Operational Monitoring & Maintenance: Ensure the ongoing operational readiness and reliability of CE systems, including model data flows, dashboards, and automated extracts. • Issue Resolution & Support: Identify, diagnose, and resolve application issues quickly and efficiently. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems. • Collaboration & Communication: Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and CE departments to manage and prioritize issue resolutions, always with a business-first perspective. • Automation & Documentation: Build and maintain automated processes for operational tasks. Create and update technical documentation, including run books for routine operations and workflows. • Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement proactive solutions to prevent future problems. • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance, identifying areas for optimization and improvement, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability. Technical Skills & Knowledge • Strong SQL skills (priority requirement, including advanced queries). • Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and ML workflows. • Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms to streamline operations. • Experience building or maintaining data pipelines with curated datasets (rather than raw operational systems). • Hands-on with standard ML algorithms such as Random Forest, XGBoost, Linear Regression, and Clustering; experience scaling and optimizing models for production use. • Experience supporting or developing with Data Science platforms such as Dataiku, DataRobot, or Azure Machine Learning Studio. • Exposure to Tableau or other visualization tools for building and maintaining interactive dashboards. • Familiarity with production support concepts, including incident reporting, debugging, and system audits. Preferred Qualifications • Background in marketing, sales, hospitality, or retail analytics (customer-centric domains preferred over purely IT or telecom). • Prior experience in production support roles or with high-availability systems. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to business stakeholders. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve problems and ensure operational stability.
