Plan Notice is a technology-driven company modernizing communications and compliance in the retirement-plan industry. We’re a small but growing team with a security-first mindset. You’ll work directly with the CTO and developers to ensure our SaaS platform runs securely and smoothly while also supporting internal IT needs for a fully remote workforce. About the Role This is a hybrid role that combines DevOps engineering with internal IT administration. Applicants should expect 80% of their time working from home and 20% of their time in person with the team in New Orleans. You’ll design, build, and maintain secure Azure infrastructure, manage CI/CD pipelines for our .NET/Blazor/MS SQL stack and support the IT needs of our remote team—all while ensuring our platform remains compliant and resilient. What You’ll Do DevOps Responsibilities · Design and manage Azure resources (VMs, App Service Plans, VNETs, storage, etc.) · Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for our .NET and Blazor codebases · Collaborate with developers to streamline deployments and troubleshoot issues · Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health, security visibility, and cost optimization · Apply strong security practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle: • Identity and Access Management (IAM) • Compliance policy support • Threat modeling and reviews • Vulnerability scanning and patch management • Secure pipeline and deployment practices • Contribute to infrastructure automation and documentation · Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure challenges · Maintain clear documentation of DevOps and IT procedures and policies IT Responsibilities · Plan and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery procedures · Generate uptime statistics and reporting · User onboarding and offboarding (accounts, access permissions) · Device management and endpoint security · Microsoft 365 administration (email, groups, security policies) · Enforce security best practices for remote workforce · Provide general IT support for internal users What We’re Looking For · Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience · Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (networking, compute, security) · Proficiency with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline design and management · Experience supporting .NET/Blazor apps with MS SQL Server backends · Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions · Security-focused mindset across cloud and internal IT · Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and user management · Solid understanding of device management and endpoint security · Excellent communication skills to work directly with the CTO and development team · Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative, service-oriented mindset · Ability to pass a background check (this role is available only to US citizens) Nice to Have · Knowledge of SOC 2 requirements and controls Benefits · Unlimited vacation policy · 401(k) plan · Health insurance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Application Question(s): • Are you a US Citizen?
