Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevOps Cloud Engineer in Durham, NC. Responsibilities: • DevOps Cloud Engineer will work in a DevOps environment • Building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins • Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes • Hands-on with two or more languages - Python, Java, Groovy, etc. • As a DevOps Cloud Engineer, you will install, configure, test, and maintain application software and system management tools • Hands-on configuring container and serverless applications • Experience working in globally distributed teams • Understanding and practical experience with implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) preferably using Terraform or an equivalent tool • Strong Unix/Linux knowledge with working experience in installing, configuring applications and resolving issues in a public cloud environment like AWS and/or Azure • Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins • Experienced with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes • Demonstrated hands-on experience with two or more languages - Python, Java, Groovy, etc. • Experience installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining application software and system management tools • Hands-on experience configuring container and serverless applications • Strong understanding and practical experience with implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) preferably using Terraform or an equivalent tool • Strong Unix/Linux knowledge with working experience in installing, configuring applications and resolving issues in a public cloud environment like AWS and/or Azure • Strong desire to learn and experiment with new technologies based on cloud trends • Strong communication and influencing skills • Passionate about working in a DevOps environment The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
