Location: Hybrid or 100% Remote (Central Time) Citizenship: US Citizen About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned Sr Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our cloud infrastructure and applications. Your expertise in cloud security, combined with your strong technical skills and proactive approach, will be instrumental in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain robust security measures for our cloud environment, primarily utilizing Azure. • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to protect our organization from emerging threats. • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle. • Monitor and analyze security logs to identify and respond to potential security incidents. • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to ensure our organization remains proactive in its security posture. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. • 7+ years of experience in cloud security, with a strong preference for Azure. • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing security measures. • Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (Java, JavaScript, or Python). • Familiarity with risk assessment and management methodologies. • Experience with public cloud infrastructure security and DevOps practices. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with GCP and AWS. • Familiarity with security tools such as snyk, cyberwatch, Splunk Soar, BigID, and Yes We Hack. • A background in network engineering, development, or DevOps.
