Qualifications • A minimum of 7 years progressive experience in a related field required • A minimum of 5 years of experience designing, deploying, and implementing Private, Public, and Hybrid Cloud technologies in accordance with industry best practices • Minimum of 5 years of consultative experience supporting Public Sector customers (Federal or SLED), with a strong understanding of mission priorities, procurement cycles, and stakeholder engagement. • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (i.e. Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering) • Willing to travel 30-40% • Understanding of Public, Private, & Hybrid Cloud Strategies • Deep understanding of Cloud ecosystem products and solutions • Strong organizational and analytical skills • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail • Independent and self-motivated and thorough • Troubleshooting skills (patience and determination to find and solve problems) • Ability to understand technology interdependencies and how various components integrate with one another Strongly Desired Skills: • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end consulting solution pipelines, including forecasting profitability, optimizing deal quality, and driving timely close rates across public sector engagements. • Deep familiarity with SLED and Federal procurement processes, including hands-on experience crafting responses to RFPs/RFIs and navigating compliance, contracting vehicles, and proposal development workflows. Specialized expertise in one or more of the following: • Cloud strategy and adoption patterns • Cloud modernization and migration • Cloud container management and Kubernetes platforms (i.e. AKS, EKS, GKE) • Cloud AI and data platform technologies (i.e. OpenAI, Azure Fabric, AWS Red Shift) • Application architecture and development in the cloud • Core Cloud infrastructure – Networking, Security, Compute, and Storage • Experience with CI/CD pipeline development for automated cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (i.e. ARM/Bicep, Terraform, Ansible), application code deployments (i.e. Git Ops) and associated agile tools (i.e. Azure Dev Ops, JIRA, etc.) • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Power Shell, JavaScript, etc. • Fluent understanding of Agile and/or ITIL • Understanding of the Cloud Cost models and Optimization strategies • Experience working with and integrating other vendors such as VMware, Palo Alto, Net App, Red Hat and other cloud technologies and ISVs • Experience and working knowledge of infrastructure concepts and technologies such as Networking, Data Center, and Security Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $160,000 to $175,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
