Job Title: SME- Cyber Security Engineer Client: Automotive Domain Location: Plano Texas. Hybrid 4 Day in Plano Texas Please reply with your expected Contract range-- Job Description/ Responsibilities Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Consultant to work with our Enterprise, OT (Operational Technology), and Cloud security teams. The ideal candidate will have over 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in managing diverse security environments Like Microsoft security products . This role involves leading the development and implementation of security measures to protect our enterprise, OT, and cloud environments from cyber threats. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and execute digitalization projects in automotive manufacturing environments. • Serve as the primary cybersecurity advisor for Microsoft products, however not limited to Microsoft. • Conduct regular strategy and solution tailoring calls with Microsoft and customer stakeholders. • Assess, design, and implement cybersecurity solutions aligned with Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure, Microsoft Defender, Purview ,ATP, Sentinel ,Copilot) & other industry tools and technologies. • Lead compliance audits and ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR). • Drive cloud security initiatives and provide technical leadership on Microsoft cloud security projects. • Maintain strong relationships with customer executives and ensure alignment with business and secure • Work with cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations. • Lead and coordinate incident response efforts for security breaches in enterprise, OT, and cloud systems • Proven ability to lead and manage security projects and teams. • Develop solutions around - Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and threat modeling • Identify and prioritize security risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and track progress. • Develop business plan, use case and cybersecurity solutions for customers to meet ROI • Ensure alignment with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks • Research and analyze security standards, trends, security systems and technology. • Work with SOC/IR/delivery team to continuously understand service enhancement & Monitoring approach • Prepare security program plans and execute IT controls, processes, audit tools, interfaces and utilities for authentication. • Work closely with cross-functional teams (IT, compliance, legal) to address security challenges. Required Qualifications: • Experience in automotive manufacturing environments. • 10+ years of experience in Cyber Security with a focus on Microsoft technologies. • Microsoft certifications such as: • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert • Experience in compliance auditing and regulatory frameworks. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a customer-facing role. • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
