Kroger’s Internship Program offers hands-on supply chain project experience, professional development, and exposure to senior leaders. Your Role: Key responsibilities include: • Managing multiple supply chain projects while adhering to timelines. • Communicating status and potential risks/issues to appropriate teams. • Assisting with documentation of supply chain processes and best practices. • Assisting in the creation of process improvement projects. • Conducting supply chain analysis. • Actively seeking and recommending new supply chain project opportunities. • Assisting with project risk, developing plans, and escalating unresolved issues. • Partnering with appropriate teams to elicit, analyze, document, and deliver supply chain solutions. • Completing a cumulative project (summary of internship accomplishments) and presenting to the executive team or appropriate manager(s). • Performing the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. About You: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: • Open to all majors; must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university. • Must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Kroger Co (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status). • Highly motivated student with the desire to take initiative on their own work. • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in groups or independently. • Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to preserve confidentiality of information. • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present information to various levels of the organization. • Ability to manage multiple priorities between school, work, or extra-curricular activities. • Responds to change as a positive challenge. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). • Significant level of multi-tasking.
