Job Title: Java Azure Architect with WebLogic ExperienceLocation: Chicago, IL – OnsiteJob Description: We are seeking a seasoned Java Azure Architect with deep experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-grade applications on Microsoft Azure, alongside strong expertise in Oracle WebLogic Server. This role will be onsite in Chicago, IL, working closely with cross-functional teams, DevOps engineers, and cloud security teams to design scalable and secure applications and migration strategies. Must Have Technical Skills:Microservices ArchitectureJava Spring BootAPI GatewayRDBMS / NoSQL DatabasesDevOps Methodologies and Tools Required Skills:13-15+ years of overall IT experience with at least 3-5 years as a Java Architect.Strong experience in Azure Cloud Architecture, including services such as:Azure App ServicesAzure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Azure FunctionsAzure API ManagementAzure DevOpsDeep expertise in Java (Spring Boot, RESTful APIs).Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server:InstallationConfigurationPerformance optimizationDeep understanding of Java (Spring Boot), RESTful API development, and cloud-native design.Proficiency with Oracle WebLogic Server.Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and modern CI/CD automation.Familiarity with both RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB).Exposure to DevOps tools and best practices.Preferred Qualifications:Azure Solutions Architect Certification (AZ-305 or equivalent).Experience in migrating on-premise Java/WebLogic apps to Azure.Strong background in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or ARM templates.Prior experience in Financial or Healthcare domains is a plus.
