Azure Cloud engineer senior (Local candidates) job at Zillion Technologies, Inc.. McLean, VA. • This is an Agile, Azure Platform Team. • Must have solid experience and knowledge in the Azure Platform, Terraform (IaC tool), Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) configurations, SSO Federation etc. • GitHub Copilot (SaaS service) experience is highly preferred for setting up authentications, authorizations, setting up / managing processes, monitoring, setting up Splunk feeds etc. • The Client is looking to move critical workloads to Azure cloud. Looking for Engineers with solid experience in Azure Platform Engineering. • The Engineer will be responsible for Standing up the Azure Cloud platform at core foundational level, deploy Terraform (IaC) in the platform, governance and management of the platform, setup Azure policies, setup subscriptions etc. Must have core cloud skills in Azure. Will be responsible in building out the Cloud platform Must Haves: Must have 5+ years of experience with IaaS offerings from Azure - they should be a SME when it comes to the different features or services that are offered. Must have experience with Azure AD - configuration and integration of those within an enterprise setting. Must hands on experience container orchestration, specifically with Docker and Kubernetes. Strong preference for AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service). Must have a background in development with programming experience using either Python or Java. A candidate with previous fintech experience would be ideal. Requirements: • Deep understanding of Azure cloud computing technologies & services with demonstrated hands-on experience in one or more of the following domains: • Azure Core IaaS: Compute, Storage, Networking, High Availability • Identity and Authentication: SSO/Federation, AD/Azure AD, ADFS, etc. • Containers and container orchestration platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, AKS • GitHub Copilot: setup, administration and maintenance • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python) Preferred skills / Qualifications: • Data Platform and Bigdata: Blob storage, Vector DB • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, C#, Open Source) • Azure Cloud fundamentals certification
