• GENERAL SUMMARY • The Cloud Services Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations, monitoring, and cost optimization of cloud infrastructure across Microsoft (MS) Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and hybrid environments. Supports organization cloud strategy by enabling automation, optimization, performance, and ensuring compliance with security and operational standards. Reports to departmental leadership. • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Performs daily operational tasks including provisioning, monitoring, patching, and troubleshooting of cloud resources. • Maintains and optimizes alerting, logging, and cost reporting tools to ensure visibility and accountability across cloud environments. • Supports identity and access management (IAM), including AzureAD, Entra ID, and single sign-on (SSO) integrations. • Collaborates with engineers and developers to support deployments and ensure compliance with cloud governance policies. • Assists in backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning for cloud-hosted systems. • Documents operational procedures and contribute to knowledge base content for internal support teams. • Participates in incident response and root cause analysis for cloud-related issues. • Performs all other duties as assigned. • LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS • Required Licenses and/or Certifications • None required. • Preferred Licenses and/or Certifications • AWS Certified cloud practitioner or equivalent preferred. • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent preferred. • MS Certified Azure Admin or equivalent preferred. • MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • Required Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. • At least 2 years’ experience in cloud computing, virtualization, network, or database management. • At least 2 years’ experience cloud engineering or infrastructure roles. • At least 2 years’ experience scripting and automation tools such as Powershell, Python, Javascript. • At least 1 year of experience with virtualization technologies and virtualized networking, such as vxLAN, NSX, or stretched fabric. • Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Proficient in cloud services technology and platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure. • Familiarity with Active Directory, AzureAD, security assertion markup language (SAML), and SSO integrations. • Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and hybrid cloud environments. • WORKING CONDITIONS • Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like with exception of visits to the computer room. • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Click here to view physical requirements.
