Key Responsibilities • Cybersecurity Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain security controls across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments. Coordinate with 3rd party partners to monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools and threat intelligence feeds. Coordinate vulnerability assessments and penetration testing with 3rd party partners; recommend and implement remediation actions. Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, endpoint protection, and identity/access management solutions. Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices. Develop, implement, and maintain a holistic cybersecurity program. Support compliance initiatives, e.g., NIST, ISO, CMMC, Ect Proactively perform regular risk assessments and security audits to ensure continued resilience. • Networking Responsibilities Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot corporate infrastructure systems including, but not limited to, Meraki, Fortinet, Juniper, VMware, and NAS/SAN. Administer Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and GPOs in a multi-site environment. Support and maintain firewalls, wireless networks, VPNs, and SDWAN links. Respond to infrastructure issues across physical and cloud environments using RMM tools. Develop and maintain accurate network documentation, system inventories, and standard operating procedures. Provide Tier 2–3 support across departments and collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Core Competencies: • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see beyond the immediate challenge, developing solutions that address the more than just the tactical problem, and proactively plan for issues and opportunities, such that disruptions can be minimized • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels • Analytical Prowess: Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with attention to detail • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations and ability to translate security and infrastructure topics into business-relevant context • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines • Intellectual Curiosity: Desire to learn both about topics germane to the role as well as those outside of the strict scope of the role Qualifications: Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 5–7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, network security, or related technical roles. • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols. • Proven experience with security tools such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco), and IDS/IPS solutions. • Experience with cloud security (AWS and Azure). • Familiarity with incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management processes. • Knowledge of common compliance and regulatory frameworks, e.g., NIST, PCI DSS). • Experience with cybersecurity governance. • Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Team player that can work with team members across departments, with consultants, and other 3rd party partners. • Knowledge of Cisco Meraki appliances for SD-WAN • Available for travel as required (about 25%). Preferred: • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CCNP Security, CompTIA Security+, or Azure/AWS Security Specialist are preferred. • Experience with Ninja One, Abnormal, Or other equivalent tools • Experience with level 3 switching for VLAN creation and routing • Experience with API for Azure connections • The ability to evaluate new sites needs and create Build of Materials lists • Experience with camera systems and physical security
