Position: Azure/Power Platform Data Engineer (Norfolk, VA) - Clearance Req with Security Clearance Azure/Power Platform Data Engineer (Norfolk, VA) - Clearance Required Cydecor is a premier Federal Government solutions provider delivering differentiated innovations in mission systems and business platforms. We hire to support secure systems and software development with a focus on mission-critical data platforms. This role focuses on migrating data from Oracle databases to Azure SQL, Synapse, and Data Lake, and designing the data layer for the Power Platform ecosystem. Responsibilities • Design and implement ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse. • Migrate and transform legacy Oracle schemas into Azure SQL and Dataverse. • Optimize data models for Power Apps and Power BI consumption. • Collaborate with Power Platform developers to design normalized, scalable data structures. • Maintain data quality, governance, and compliance. Qualifications • 5+ years in data engineering and database design. • Strong experience with Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, and Data Factory. • Proficiency in SQL, performance tuning, and schema optimization. • Familiarity with Oracle database migration strategies. • Experience enabling Power BI/Power Apps through optimized data models. Security Clearance Active Secret Clearance required. Education Bachelor's degree. Work Schedule Hybrid/mostly remote with the ability to attend meetings in Norfolk during business hours with little notice.
