Position: OpenShift/DevOps Engineer Location: Remote Duration : Long term contract Rate Range : 60-65/hr Position Overview: The client is looking for a candidate very well versed in OpenShift, Kubernetes, and DevOps. Someone who has worked with containers, deploying applications to OpenShift clusters, automation, etc. There are 2 major applications in the OpenShift system that run the entirety of the hotel systems. If these applications fail, it creates a myriad of issues. This person will be responsible for identifying issues, help with automation, work loads, and bottle necks. 20-30 clusters this person will be dealing with. MUST Haves: 1. Really need someone with containers - new to this tech so need someone well versed Kubernetes and OpenShift - someone who has built OpenShift clusters from scratch 2. DevOps background with Azure DevOps 3. Azure DevOps - integrate the OpenShift environment with Azure DevOps and helm charts - wont be building the pipeline themselves but they need to know how to read it 4. Automation - ArgoCD and that talks to GitOps 5. Also versed in Bare metal NICE TO HAVES: 1. .Net core - all the applications are on .Net core 2. RedHat 3.
