Job description

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and to integrate the related services (applications and infrastructure) into the firm's application portfolio. This candidate will also be responsible for prototyping, strategy, planning, and coordinating activities related to data integration into the Power Platform. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to • Design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Power Platform • Design workloads that ensure the necessary security of the data being exposed is up to the standards of information security • Document said solutions for security architecture review, support handover, and other purposes • Ensure the quality and performance of delivered solutions by performing code reviews, testing, and debugging • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine requirements and develop technical solutions • Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies and trends, and make recommendations for improving current solutions • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues as necessary Required • Strong experience in Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate (Desktop and Web), and Dataverse • Experience securing workloads with use through least privileged principals • Solution design experience with data ETL processes, integration, and data pipeline tools • Knowledge of Azure data processing tools, specifically SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus • Proficiency in analyzing and optimizing processes to identify areas for improvement, streamline operations, and eliminate unnecessary actions, ensuring an efficient and cost-effective user experience. • Experience with DevOps practices and procedures • Knowledge of Master Data Management within an enterprise • Excellent oral and verbal communication skills • Experience working for an investment bank, specifically M&A and/or capital markets Desired • Microsoft Certifications • PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant • PL-300 or DA-100: Power BI Data Analyst • PL-400: Power Platform Developer • PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect • Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate • Fabric Data Engineer Associate • Power Automate RPA Developer Associate
