Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTION The Network Administrator will ensure the smooth operation of our organization's computer networks. They will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Essential Job Duties • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, etc.). • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime. • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and encryption. • Manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud-based networks. • Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning. • Conduct network performance tests and optimize system efficiency. • Work with vendors and service providers to manage network-related services and troubleshooting. • Maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams, procedures, and policies. • Support end users by troubleshooting network-related issues and providing technical assistance. • Stay updated on emerging network technologies and best practices. • Works directly with 3 rd party service providers to provide overall management of the quality of services being provided. • Maintain Firewalls and internal network standards that are compliant with CMMC standards. • Implement IP templates per branch office. • Asset life cycle management - Proactively check for EOL on existing infrastructure, plan, and replace. • Perform on-call duties for any infrastructure/Network outages and issues. • Assist with integration with new branches being onboarded through acquisition process. • Communicates outages and network performance concerns effectively with the business stakeholder. • Other other duties may be assigned. Qualifications The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications. Education, Training, Certifications • High school Diploma, or equivalent, required. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, preferred. Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements • 3+ years of experience as a Network Administrator or similar role, required. • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP, etc.), required. • Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.), strongly preferred. • Proficiency in network security concepts, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, strongly preferred. • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Communication Skills • Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers. • Communication and collaboration skills with sharp attention to details. Systems And Software Skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. • Experience with HRIS systems, required. • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are preferred. Other Qualifications • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required. • Must be able to comply with SFPH’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement. • Occasional travel required, up to 20%.
