System Engineer – Cyber Security (Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID) North Kansas City, MO (Onsite) 12+ months contract Job Description:- We are seeking an experienced System Engineer with a strong background in Cyber Security to design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable IT infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have in-depth hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory (AD), and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems and data. Required Skills and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 8-10 years of experience in System Engineering with a focus on Cyber Security. • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and Entra ID. • Experience with Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, or similar tools. • Proficiency in Windows Server Administration, Group Policy, and Identity Federation. • Hands-on experience with network security, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection. • Knowledge of Zero Trust, NIST, or ISO 27001 security frameworks. • Strong scripting/automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
