As an Inside Sales & Design Consultant, you will use your sales and design skills to develop and maintain relationships with walk-in clients and smaller scale client projects. You will collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and design needs, offering tailored solutions that enhance their workspace, productivity, and culture. You will guide clients through the sales and design process from initial consultation through final installation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide client requests for pricing quotes, specifications, product information and other service requirements. This can involve providing quotes, product options, drawings, and finish selections. Provide support for large account activity, field incoming sales calls and walk-in clients, assisting with product inquiries and offering recommendations. Communicate completely and in a timely manner with internal teams and clients. This can include communication of critical project information to all affected team members, coordinating order placement and arrival dates, conducting pre-install meetings through the client walk through and punch list resolution. Collaborate with clients to gather project information and develop creative and functional design solutions that meet the clients’ requirements, aesthetic and budget. Create computer-generated design documents including floorplans and 3-D renderings to communicate and document design solutions, ensuring efficient and accurate installation results. Assist with Architectural and Design support by conducting product research and providing information to ensure seamless communication and service continuity. Manage coordination for day-to-day orders, service orders, and small projects, ensuring that all aspects are organized and tracked, proper follow-up on project and progress and timelines are communicated effectively. Become proficient with internal technology, including Hedberg and CET Other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: 2-year AAS Interior Design Degree and applicable experience Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Ability to travel outside of the office, may include occasional overnight or out of state travel DESIRED REQUIREMENTS: 4-year Interior Design or Interior Architecture degree and applicable experience Office furniture industry knowledge One to two years of related work experience: commercial office furniture, architecture & interior design, commercial real estate, construction, marketing Employees are responsible, as a condition of hire and continued employment, for following all prescribed safety rules and procedures to prevent workplace injuries.
