Position: Azure Technical Architect Location: Washington - District of Columbia-hybrid Job: Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement end-to-end Azure cloud architectures tailored to business needs, with a strong emphasis on Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and identity management. • Ensure security, compliance, and cost-efficiency across Azure environments, with a focus on identity protection and conditional access policies. • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep. • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources, including Azure AD Connect and identity synchronization. • Stay updated with the latest Azure services, tools, and industry trends, particularly in the identity and access management domain. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 4–5 years in Azure cloud architecture. • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification. • Deep expertise in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Azure AD B2B/B2C, Conditional Access, and Identity Protection. • Proficiency in Azure services including Azure Functions, AKS, Azure AD, and Azure Storage. • Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in Azure. • Experience with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless architectures. • Hands-on expertise in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation frameworks. • Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOC2, GDPR, and zero-trust security models. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
